Who we are について
About 944 Outlaws
The Porsche 944 is one of the best-balanced sports cars ever built, and most of them are now held together by forty-year-old plastic. The big stuff — engines, gearboxes, suspension — is well supported. It's the small stuff that lets you down: the expanding nut that crumbles when you swap a license plate, the carpet fastener that vanished sometime in the 1990s.
944 Outlaws exists to fix exactly that. We reproduce the small, discontinued hardware that keeps a 944 feeling whole, and we publish free, honest tutorials so you can do the work yourself. No account, no newsletter popup, no gatekeeping.
What we believe
- These cars should be driven, not preserved under a cover waiting for an auction.
- Small parts matter. A rattling carpet or a zip-tied license plate ruins a car that's otherwise right.
- Knowledge should be free. Every tutorial on this site costs nothing and always will.
The fine print
944 Outlaws is an independent operation run by an enthusiast, not a corporation. Porsche® and 944® are registered trademarks of Dr. Ing. h.c. F.
